I got Gaithersburg HELP’s number through a friend who told me that HELP provided food. I am a single mom with two kids and the assistance from HELP has been enormous. Getting fruit, vegetables, milk, cereal, etc., has been very helpful. It has helped me financially with about 50% of my expenses. I pray that we keep receiving help from Gaithersburg HELP and other organizations because it’s very important for the Hispanic community.

I don’t have much work, and my partner’s work has also slowed down. Food prices are still high, and it is hard to pay other bills like rent and electricity. A friend told me about Gaithersburg HELP, and I got food for the first time. I really like the fresh food. The volunteer gave me numbers for other food organizations, which I really appreciated.
